PORTABLE MONITORING DRYING OF MISAI KUCING (ORTHOSIPHON ARISTATUS) SYSTEM
Creating a portable system to monitor the drying of Misai Kucing to preserve and sustain its best quality at desired temperature.
Using LabVIEW Data logging as the graphical development environment that integrates with NI CompactRIO as a controller to process the raw data, thermocouple used to measure surface of the solar panel, relay used to switch on or off with respect to temperature by the thermocouple, high voltage solar panel used to measure voltage generated and heating coil is used to heat up Misai Kucing at desired temperature.
FLUID DYNAMIC PLANT SIMULATION FOR EDUCATION USING LabVIEW AND DATASOCKET AS OPC CLIENT
To design a simulator that accessible by students and lecturer synchronously. The PID simulator will be run on every students from students workstation while the lecturer will have the access on the same simulator to monitor system status, upstream a teaching module and controlling or setting the simulator from lecturer workstation.
LabVIEW program was developed at server to work as an OPC Client to third party OPC Server at student’s PC and lecturer’s PC. Implementation was done by using DataSocket to allow easy data transfer over many different protocols.
PAYOUT TENSION METER SYSTEM (PTMS)
Creating a system to monitor the stress or tension of the anchor or work wire cables when deploying it to ensure that it does not exceed the allowable design limit.
Using LabVIEW as the graphical development environment that integrates with NI CompactRIO as a controller to process the raw data before showed the actual data in HMI, proximity sensor used to measure wire cables of anchor either pay in or pay out and load pin sensor used to measure the tension of wire cable.
